BUG OFF COLD PROCESS SOAP

Our Bug Off Cold Process Soap... 100% authentically natural.  Using our Bug Off Cold Process Soap is a great way to cleanse and moisturize your skin in addition to create a barrier to repel mosquitoes, ticks and other insects.  Our choice of essential oils is a natural way to repel mosquitoes and ticks while enjoying the outdoors.  Lemongrass (cymbopogon flexuosus), citronella (cymbopogon winterianus), eucalyptus (eucalyotus gkobulus), peppermint (mentha piperuta) and basil  ocimum basilicum) oils all repel mosquitoes and ticks.  Citronella is a mood booster, basil gives mental clarity and the other three oils soothe the skin against irritations. 

We use natural clays to color the soap and to add mineral-rich properties to remove impurities and dead skin.  We use food grade lye that is used in food items such as bagels, pretzels and olives.  Food grade lye is not strong but needed to work with our oils and butter that will go through a natural chemical reaction called saponification which will absorb all of the lye in the final product.  It is a four week process for the soap to cure.  The food grade lye is needed to produce a pure, natural soap instead of an unhealthy detergent that commercial soaps, body wash and shampoo use.  We make all of our products from scratch, in small batches.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:  Work into a rich lather with warm water.  Cleanse gently, then rinse away.  Keep soap dry between uses to extend its life and preserve its beauty.
