FACE AND SHAVING SOAP

Our Natural Cold Process Face and Shaving Soap is 100% authentically natural. A great quality pure soap.  Face and Shaving Soap is made with cedarwood (cedrus atlantica), fir needle (abies sibirica), litsea cubeba  (litsea cubeba) and patchouli (pogostemon cablin) essential oils.  This combination of essential oils reduces skin irritation and inflammation, and assist in healing during shaving with its antiseptic properties.  They also have astringent properties that can tighten the skin and regenerative properties for anti aging.  (Yes, men care about wrinkles too!!) This soap is also great for shaving because of the kaolin clay added for slip.  Our Face and Shaving Soap includes coconut oil which is deeply cleansing, moisturizing, hydrating and anti-bacterial.  Olive oil offers moisturizing and cleansing and great for sensitive skin.  African shea butter calms inflammation and small amounts of castor oil helps promote collagen production.

We use food grade lye that is used in food items such as bagels, pretzels and olives.  food grade lye is not strong but is needed to work with our oils and butters that will go through a natural chemical reaction called saponification which will absorb all of the lye in the final product.  It is a four week process for the soap to cure.  The food grade lye is needed to produce a pure, natural soap instead of an unhealthy detergent that commercial soaps. body wash and shampoo use.  We make all our products by hand, in small batches.

Pair the soap with our Face and Beard Butter for added moisturizing properties, conditioning for your beard,and daily, natural sunblock protection.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Work into a rich lather with warm water.  Cleanse gently, then rinse away.  Keep soap dry in between uses to preserve to extend its life.
