LEMONY BASIL COLD PROCESS SOAP

Our Natural Cold Process Soap... Lemony Basil...is 100% authentically natural.  A great quality pure soap.  Lemony Basil Cold Process Soap is made with litsea cubeba and basil essential oils so it has a light lemony smell with the scent of fresh basil.  This soap helps minimize skin outbreaks and treats eczema.  It helps prevent pre-mature aging; it is highly cleansing and moisturizing.  Using this soap reduces inflammation, hydrates dry skin and helps treat scars. We use natural clays to color the soap and to add mineral- rich properties to remove impurities and dead skin.  Titanium dioxide is also added to give the white color and improves longevity of the soap.  We use food grade lye that is used in food items such as bagels, pretzels and olives.  Food grade lye is not strong but is needed to work with our oils and butters that will go through a natural chemical reaction called saponification which will absorb all of the lye in the final product.  It is a four week process for the soap to cure.  The food grade lye is needed to produce a pure, natural soap instead of an unhealthy detergent that commercial soaps, body wash and shampoo use.  We make all of our products by hand, in small batches.

DIRECTIONS OF USE: Work into a rich lather with warm water.  Cleanse gently, then rinse away.  Keep soap dry between uses to extend its life and preserve its beauty.
