NATURAL SHAMPOO BAR

Our Natural Shampoo Bar has many beneficial properties for healthy hair.  It includes coconut oil which is deep cleansing, moisturizing and anti-bacterial.  Infused olive oil with rosemary, horsetail, aloe powder, fenugreek, ashwaganda, black cumin seed, moringa, thyme, flaxseed and clove herbs offers  moisturizing and cleansing along with improving scalp health and promotes hair growth and strengthening. African shea butter calms inflammation to the scalp.  Castor oil soothes irritation to the scalp, reduces dandruff and palm oil is nourishing and moisturizing and helps strengthens the hair follicles and promotes hair growth.  Activated charcoal is added to the mix to absorb dirt, oil and toxins from the scalp and unclog pores. We also add natural Multani Mitti clay for natural color for the soap as well as more deep cleansing and improved blood circulation when applied to your scalp.  Our lye water is ehhanced with rice water.  Rice water promotes strength and elasticity.  It makes hair easier  to detangle which can  reduce breakage.  It acts as a protection against environmental damage.  We use food grade lye that is used in food items such as bagels, pretzels and olives. Food grade lye is not strong but is needed to work with our oils and butters that will go through a chemical reaction called saponification which will absorb all of the lye in the final product.  It is a four week process for the soap to cure.  The food grade lye is needed to produce a pure, natural soap instead of an unhealthy detergent  that commercial soaps , body wash and shampoo use.  We also added activated charcoal that detoxes the scalp and hair by removing toxins and pollutants.

Our choices of essential oils are peppermint (mentha piperita), sage (salivia officinalis), geranium (pelargonium graveolens), rosemary (rosmarinus officinalus) and tea tree (melaleuca alternifolia) oils.  Peppermint oil helps regrow hair that has been lost and slow hair thinning.  Sage essential oil stimulates hair growth, strengthens and softens hair and helps balance the scalps pH.  Geranium oil can improve the texture of your hair and can soothe an irritated scalp.  Tea tree oil can unclog hair follicles, stimulate blood flow to the scalp and helps reduce dandruff.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Work into a rich lather with warm water.  Cleanse genlty, massaging into your scalp.  Rinse and repeat.  Rinse away.  Keep soap dry between uses to extend its life.
