SPICE MARKET COLD PROCESS SOAP

Our Natural Cold Process Soap... Spice Market... is 100% authentically natural.  Great quality pure soap.  The ingredients in this soap include coconut oil which is deeply cleansing and moisturizing.  Olive oil offers moisturizing and cleansing and great for sensitive skin.  African shea butter calms inflammation and a small amount of castor oil to help promote collagen production that helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles.  We also add natural clay to naturally color the soap and to draw out impurities and removes toxins.  Spice Market is made with cinnamon, nutmeg and clove essential oils. 

Cinnamon essential oil is anti-inflammatory and an anti-oxidant.  It combats acne, stimulates blood for a healthy glow and helps eliminate bacteria responsible for acne and clogged pores.  Nutmeg essential oil is naturally clarifying, helps fade dark spots and tightens pores.  And clove essential oil soothes irritation and dry, itchy skin.  (However, as a precaution, if you have a sensitive skin condition, i.e. rosacea, dermatitis, etc., this soap may be too strong because of the essential oils used.)

We use food grade lye that is used in food items such as bagels, pretzels and olives.  Food grade lye is not strong but is needed to work with our oils and butters that will go through a chemical reaction called saponification which will absorb all of the lye in the final product.  It is a four week process for the soap to cure.  The food grade lye is needed to produce a pure, natural soap instead of an unhealthy detergent that commercial soaps, body washes and shampoos become.

NO TWO BARS ARE ALIKE-- HANDCRAFT UNIQUENESS.  Because each bar of soap is lovingly handcrafted, poured and cut by hand, slight variations in color and size are perfectly normal.  These differences are part of what makes every bar unique-- just like you!  Your soap was made with care, not by a machine.

DIRECTION FOR USE:  Work into a rich lather with warm water.  Cleanse gently, then rinse away.  Keep soap dry in between uses to extend its life and preserve its beauty.
